Neha Dixit is an independent journalist and author based in New Delhi. She has covered politics, gender, and social justice for almost 20 years. She has won over a dozen journalism awards including the International Press Freedom Award from the Committee to Protect Journalists among others. Her debut book, 'The Many Lives of Syeda X' published by Juggernaut Books looks at the last 30 years of India through the eyes of a working-class, migrant Muslim woman in Delhi.
