Vaibhav Vishal is a multiple-award winning screenwriter based in Mumbai. With an experience of more than 25 years in the entertainment industry, he has worked with brands like MTV, Red FM and Eros before deciding to leave the corporate life to pursue his creative aspirations, and become a full time writer. His most popular project Scam 1992 got him the Filmfare Award for Best Dialogues, and also the prestigious Critics Choice Award and Screenwriters’ Association Awards in the Best Writing category. With Scam, Rana Naidu, Inside Edge, Shekhar Home, Vaibhav has had the distinction of being an integral part of the top most fiction shows across platforms.  Vaibhav has also written the dialogues for Sanjay’s Gupta Mumbai Saga starring John Abraham and Emraan Hashmi. His next project as the lead writer is Gandhi, the series, directed by Hansal Mehta. Additionally, there are two upcoming series on Netflix, including Glory and an untitled project, and a couple of films in the making, including the Prasoon Pandey directorial, a contemporary mythological thriller, that has just been announced, and a franchise film from Ekta Kapoor. Outside of his screenwriting, Vaibhav is known for his loud and conscientious, middle-of-the-road but definitely opinionated, social media voice, using humour to put across his point.
