Saurabh Kirpal
Lawyer & AuthorSaurabh Kirpal is an Indian lawyer, author, and senior advocate at the Supreme Court and Delhi High Court. He studied physics at St. Stephen’s College, Delhi, and law at Oxford and Cambridge. He briefly worked with the UN in Geneva before returning to Delhi. Kirpal has represented clients like Anil Ambani and argued for the decriminalization of homosexuality and same-sex marriage. He is the managing trustee of the Naz Foundation Trust, the editor of ‘Sex and the Supreme Court’, an anthology addressing law, gender, and sexuality, and has authored ‘Fifteen Judgments: Cases That Shaped India’s Financial Landscape’ and ‘Who Is Equal: The Equality Code of the Constitution’.
